On Friday, July 28, 2023, the President signed into law:
H.R. 423, the “Pala Band of Mission Indians Land Transfer Act of 2023,” which directs that certain land be taken into trust for the benefit of the Pala Band of Mission Indians upon transfer of title to the United States; and
