On Monday, May 13, 2024, the President signed into law:
H.R. 593, which renames the Department of Veterans Affairs community-based outpatient clinic in Hinesville, Georgia, as the John Gibson, Dan James, William Sapp, and Frankie Smiley VA Clinic;
Thank you to Representative Carter and the Georgia delegation for their leadership; and
H.R. 1042, the “Prohibiting Russian Uranium Imports Act,” which prohibits the importation of unirradiated, low-enriched uranium that is produced in the Russian Federation or by a Russian entity;
Thank you to Representatives McMorris Rodgers and Latta, and Senators Barrasso, Coons, Heinrich, Lummis, Manchin, Marshall, and Risch, and many others for their leadership.
